Milestone Accountants portal · Last updated 8 October 2026
The portal is run by Milestone Accountants Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 11631034), of 18A Gawsworth Avenue, Didsbury, Manchester M20 5NF. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ZA514752). You can contact us at imran.hafeez@milestoneaccountants.co.uk or on 0161 504 2252.
These terms apply to the Milestone Accountants portal at portal.milestoneaccountants.co.uk ("the portal"). Our staff use the portal to manage our clients' work. Clients and people asking us for a quote use parts of it directly:
Our accountancy services themselves are governed by your engagement letter and our terms of business. If anything in these terms conflicts with your engagement letter, the engagement letter applies.
We send engagement letters and approvals of accounts and tax returns for electronic signature through Zoho Sign. Signing electronically has the same effect as signing on paper. A copy of each signed document is kept on your file.
As part of our service we send you emails and, if you have given us a mobile number, text messages about your deadlines, records we need and documents to sign. After your accounts or return are filed, we may ask whether you would leave us a review; you can tell us at any time if you would rather not receive these messages. Our emails will never ask you to pay into a bank account that differs from the one on our invoices.
You must not try to access any part of the portal, or any information, that is not meant for you; upload anything harmful (such as viruses); or use the portal for anything unlawful. We may suspend access where we reasonably suspect misuse.
The portal and its data are hosted in the United Kingdom on Microsoft Azure. Access is restricted to our staff, by role, and protected by Microsoft 365 sign-in. Sensitive details such as tax references and HMRC access tokens are encrypted, and all information travels over encrypted connections. How we use personal information is explained in our privacy policy. If we become aware of a breach affecting your information, we will tell you, the Information Commissioner's Office and, where relevant, HMRC, as the law requires.
We aim to keep the portal available but cannot guarantee it will always be, for example during maintenance or when services we rely on (such as HMRC or Companies House) are unavailable. If you cannot use the portal, contact us and we will find another way to deal with your request.
The portal supports the services set out in your engagement letter, and our responsibility to you is as set out there. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
